everything will change

Tonje Alice Madsen's exhibition EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE at Fotogalleriet's Nordic Anthology project space consists of a photo series in Polaroid format, a book composed solely of questions, and a performance during which all questions are read aloud. The text and the photos are developed parallel to one another, linked with the attempt to exercise 'being present'.

Madsen's book EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE seeks a philosophical perspective of everyday life by looking at daily self-esteem and existential issues. The questions are set together as a whole, and compose the script for the performance carrying the same title.

The exhibition's photographs focus on details that might otherwise belong to a 'blind spot of obviousness'.

EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE will be performed by Madsen at 18:00 on the opening event. The artist's book will be available for reading within the exhibition space, as well as purchasable from Fotogalleriet's bookshop.
